Daniel Kan Memorial Lectures

The Kan lectures are yearly lecture series given by renowned mathematicians. Previous speakers include Michael Hopkins, Graeme Segal, Ib Madsen, Eric Friedlander,  Fabien Morel and Luc Illusie.

2023 Lectures

The 2023 Kan lectures will be given by Mikhail Kapranov (Tokyo) under the general title “Lectures on Adjoint functors, continued fractions and categorified perverse sheaves”.
  • First lecture (October 12th, 4pm; KBG Pangea): Lectures on Adjoint functors, continued fractions and categorified perverse sheaves I.
  • Second lecture (October 13th, 2:30pm; KBG Pangea): Lectures on Adjoint functors, continued fractions and categorified perverse sheaves II.
  • Third lecture (October 13th, 4pm; KBG Pangea): Lectures on Adjoint functors, continued fractions and categorified perverse sheaves III.
